This treatment allows patients to achieve oral rehabilitation with implants in a single day requires careful attention to all aspects of care. The usual 3 to 6 month waiting period for a new tooth (or multiple teeth), as in traditional implant dentistry, is eliminated. However, to do an immediate loading implant, certain criteria have to be met. There has to be adequate bone, a large enough implant needs to be placed, and the implant once placed has to be able to resist at least 40 ncm of force.

This patient presented with a chief complaint of an old discolored dental crown.
A treatment plan was designed after a discussion with the patient. A dental implant was then prepared and a new dental crown was made to blend in with patient’s natural teeth.
The photo here shows successful removal of the tooth and all root material.
The implant was placed after the socket was prepared. This implant was proven to be extremely stable.
The abutment was attached to the implant.
